MCSL swim meets can not run without trained, certified officials, referees, starters, and stroke & turn judges. Training clinics are available FREE OF CHARGE. Please visit the MCSL website for TRAINING INFORMATION and to REGISTER for a session or review below.

Registration for classes is now open on the MCSL website. Please pay attention to whether a class is being offered online or in-person. 

Stroke and Turn

Clinics are tailored to newly certifying S&T and recertifying S&Ts.  Registrations for recertifying S&T clinics will be checked to ensure attendees are eligible.  Please attend the appropriate clinic.

First time (new) S&T

Recertifying S&T

"Last chance" clinic (for new and recertifying S&Ts)

Starter

Referee

These clinics are targeted at newly certifying Referees.

Advanced Referee

Attendees must be certified as both a Referee and S&T with certification records for both positions of '23' or later in the officials database.  This clinic provides recertification in the positions of Referee and S&T.  It will also provide recertification for the Starter position for those starters with certification records of '23' or later.  The clinic does not provide initial certification as Starter.  Registrations will be checked to verify eligibility.

ATTENTION CURRENT OFFICIALS!

The information below is as of April 16, 2025. Officials listed below who are showing that their certifications expired will need to take the training this year in order to officiate. Please visit the MCSL website to register for an upcoming re-certification clinic.
