A Typical Swim Week
Important Guidelines
- Check the website for copies of the newsletter, important links, and other pertinent information.
- The will be no edits to the line-up on the day of the meet – this includes changing events, adding or deleting swimmers and/or events.
- Do not attempt to enter swimmers online after the Monday 5:00 deadline because the computer automatically changes the sign ups at that time to the next meet.
- Please email henryandkelly@verizon.net if your child will not be able to attend the meet due to illness.
- All families must sign up for 6 volunteer positions over the course of the swim season. Go to the Volunteer tab at the top of the website to sign up. There are many exciting jobs for which YOU are qualified…ask how you can get involved!
- During the meet, only swimmers will be allowed in the pool. The “baby pools” will be closed.
- During the time period Saturday through Wednesday, a swimmer may swim 3 events PLUS the IM. The “B” League Guidelines state:
ELIGIBILITY
In a swimming week (Saturday – Friday), a swimmer is eligible to Swim: An individual event (including the I.M.) only once per week in either an A or B meet. A total of three individual strokes and one I.M. per week.
Restrictions:
A swimmer is not eligible to swim in a Wednesday night meet (i.e., for place or ribbon) if he/she scored in two or more events on the previous Saturday. This swimmer is only eligible to swim exhibition.
Remember…June 11 is Time Trials – all swimmers must swim for times in order to sign up for the first meet. Warm up is at 7:30 at the Manchester Farm Pool.
